Private beach access bliss

All the staff was very friendly and attentive.

The location was amazing and beautiful for me as it was next to the downtown area, and Tulum, Mexico. I truly enjoyed spotless rooms right on the water...

I was blown away by the very nice kindness of the staff, they remembered my name, like I was family, especially when they surprised me with a complimentary drink upon arrival! The beachfront room was a dream come true. Waking up to an ocean view every morning was like I was living in paradise!

It wasn't cheap! But honestly, I think it was worth it.

Overall liked our stay and would recommend. It was a wonderful relaxing hotel in a peaceful area, just off taxi that is very easy to catch and a cenote where lives Panchito the crocodile and Akumal. Our room was nicely decorated and well-appointed and bathroom was fairly clean. We had a real good stay and the location was beautiful.

many things to mention - everything was fairly clean, tasty food, exceptional views. there were extra large beds and a mini bar and coffee inside the room. the location was exceptionally nice and the staff were highly courteous. this hotel was set in a peaceful area. everything was simply really good.

Beautiful beach and spacious rooms, but the road to the hotel is bumpy.

The room is perfect and immaculate and equipped with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, climate control and a personal safe.

The room was spacious and well-decorated. The patio was serene. The ocean view from our suite was amazing.

Alea Tulum offers a beautifully designed atmosphere with lush greenery, spacious areas, and easy beach access. The room provided fine views of the ocean.

Bumpy road may affect senior guests' comfort.

We explored the jungle in an all-terrain vehicle and relaxed on the beach. The staff was super friendly, and the rooms were spacious and clean. Great location near the water, perfect for group fun and connecting with nature.

The only downside was that the road to the hotel was pretty bumpy, which got tiring after multiple trips.

the service was a bit lacking at times. but the views from the ocean view suite were outstanding. the complimentary breakfast included amazing options every day. easy access to free kayaks made our stay enjoyable.

Upon arrival, the room lacked sufficient towels, and the absence of basic amenities like soap was frustrating. The location is somewhat isolated, requiring a costly taxi ride to reach the nearby center, which feels a bit excessive for such a short drive. The sofa bed for the third person was quite uncomfortable, and the inconsistent cleaning schedule posed a challenge, especially after long days exploring. Dining options are on the pricier side, with long wait times for breakfast that necessitated pre-ordering to fit our schedule.

The stay was pleasant overall, especially due to the beautiful oceanfront view from the room and the convenience of having kayaks and paddleboards available right on the beach. The atmosphere was relaxing and allowed us to disconnect from daily life. Accessing the hotel was challenging due to the poor condition of the road leading up to it. It may not be ideal for those who prefer quick access to nightlife or shopping options. Despite this, the location provided peace and tranquility, making it a perfect retreat for those looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Alea Tulum offers a soothing, artistic retreat. The staff genuinely cared. The location connected me to nearby attractions beautifully. The beach's rocky entry was challenging for swimming. A rejuvenating experience.
